Acolytes1 Epiphany Acolytes

dedicated service at the Lord's Table

Epiphany Acolytes participate in both Sunday services as crucifer, youth reader, and aide to the priest during the Gospel reading and preparation of Communion.  They meet once a month, usually the first Sunday of the month, following the 10:30 AM service (exceptions are announced).  Every October, they travel to the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. for the National Acolyte Festival.  They fund this event primarily through proceeds from the Adrian Miller Memorial Acolyte Chicken BBQ held each year in April.  Youth in 5th through 12th grades can be Acolytes.  They are led by Uncle Rick with parent assistants.
